The location is just a short walk from the Altstadt, and convenient for exploring the Christmas markets. Amenities like pubs, restaurants and shops are nearby. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the cleaning was very good, and the breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from. The maintenance staff was also very efficient; the shower head holder in our room couldn’t be fastened above the lowest level when we came, but this was expediently fixed within 15 minutes of us notifying the reception (and we even got a small chocolate). This attests to my experience of the hotel staff as being sincerely devoted to making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Moreover, the shower had proper water pressure, so it was one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever encountered while travelling. Even the Wi-Fi was superb. All in all, it was just really relaxing and comfortable to stay here, and compared to most other hotels I’ve stayed in (and my count has added up through the years) this hotel was just one of the the most pleasant I’ve been to.

We booked 2 double rooms and on arrival they let us check in early, they immediately informed us that they had made a slight mistake with one of our rooms and had to give us 2 single rooms instead so in return they gave us complimentary breakfast for the 4 of us. The bfast was delicious, the room has a small fridge, a coffee machine and also a hairdryer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

This might be one of those rare occasions where the photos actually seemed to not show how nice the room and hotel was. I enjoyed the location, staff was very kind and friendly and allowed for earlier check-in. They provided good coffee and water in the room (unlike some others I was recently in). Their reception is very charming and honestly everything worked splendidly. I enjoyed how it was conveniently within walking distance to the train station (perhaps less than a 10 minute walk).

Breakfast choice was very good and quality of food was also good. Location was near to the main railway station and fairly close to the old town. Lot of choice for eating out . Tea, coffee and flavoured water was available in reception along with some treats.
